Company News: We Sponsored A Student

When it comes to sustainability, it goes well beyond your working conditions and the materials you use for your products; investing in the community and people through charitable causes matters too. It forms part of the 'social' pillar of sustainability which is as equally important as environmental and economical practices.
As a business that keeps sustainability at its core, we have worked on many projects throughout 2022 to help give back to those in need.

One Cause are a "non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of communities around the world through education" and, last year, we supported their Sponsor A Student project. This brilliant fundraising scheme encourages the donation of money to sponsor a student in a poor and underprivileged community so that they are able to receive a real opportunity to advance their future through access to education.

As a result of the donations that we made as a company throughout the last 12 months, we have been able to fund and support a high-quality education for 20 students at the Auro Technical School in Uganda.
This covers the cost of a uniform, textbooks, stationery, one pair of shoes, exam fees and so much more.

We are excited to continue our sustainability journey by supporting more amazing causes in the new year!
